Home Again

I had an amazing time in North Carolina with the 'rents and my girls - Anne and Missa.
What fun it was finding out I'm a size 8 and eating in American restaurants with free water, refills and ice in every glass. I seriously pigged out on the shore but only had 6 pounds of damage on the scale last WEdnesday. Should be better tomorrow for WI and back to goal or less in another week.

GOAAAAAAALLLLLLL!!!!

It's official! Today I am below goal at 150 pounds. After a few weeks of hovering just above it, I have broken through that barrier and now weigh less than I ever have in my adult life. Now on to maintenance. Will be back with a picture soon.

ONE YEAR!!!!

January 2006
January 28, 2007

It's official. I've been with Weight Watchers for a year and 4 days now. I'd love to say I'm at goal weight and will never struggle with eating again, but that is not even realistic let alone true. I am 158 pounds for a loss of 69 pounds in one year. The last months since September have been very difficult. The scale isn't moving as fast and having to eat less and less has caused a lot of old habits and self-sabotaging thoughts to surface. It's amazing that I'm still such an emotional eater. Stress, fatigue, sadness: any of them is an excuse to over eat if I want it to be. I'm working on some new goals for this year of WW.

1. Learn to eat only when hungry and only until satisfied, not stuffed. Realize that not all points need to be eaten.
2. Continue working out to tone muscle and drop body fat. CBF%:33 GBF%: 22
3. Focus on how my body moves and feels, not on the scale and clothing size (though I'd love to be a true size 8).
4. Look at my naked lower body with love and admiration (The cellulite and sagging skin take some getting used to.

I know that I want to continue to be a role model for my patients. I want them to look at me and know they can be healthy, too. I know that God will honor my heart's desire and continue to give me the strength I need to persist.

I can't believe it's December

It's been 2 1/2 months since my last blog. There is no way I can recap the last two months, but I will tell you hat I am still loving the improved Tonya. Despite weight gain on the cruisse in November and a crazy eating week around Thanksgiving, I still am on track more days than not. Yesterday the scale finally dipped below 160#. Next week is the ball and I'll have on spaghetti straps!!! Will definitely post pictures. This is me with my roommate on our first formal night on the cruise! The dress is a 12!!

MEasurements today: Waist 30 in. Hips- 41in. Bust
